Sports activities in Vale of Aylesbury if you are over 50
We actively support a range of activities for people over the age of 50, ranging from badminton to tai-chi. These are held at venues throughout the Vale. Look on the Aylesbury Vale District Council website for a timetable.

Simply Walks – South Bucks and Chiltern Area and Heart & Sole – Aylesbury Vale area

“Simply Walk” and “Heart & Sole” are schemes organised by the Primary Care Trusts and District Councils in Buckinghamshire, together with the Rural Transport Partnership and Countryside Agency as part of the national “Walking the way to health” initiative.

Like to improve your health and meet new friends? Then Simply Walk or Heart & Sole is just for you.
It’s simple, easy and free!

“Simply” walking can help to:

• improve weight loss
• improve mood and confidence
• improve flexibility and stamina
• reduce osteoporosis and arthritis
• reduce coronary heart disease and strokes
• reduce high blood pressure
• reduce risk of diabetes
• reduce anxiety, stress and depression
